Andy was born in West London U.K. He studied at The Guildhall & City University, gaining a BA in Music. He also had his first acting experience at University in a self directed, one man show of Samuel Beckett’s ‘Krapp’s Last Tape’ as part of a ‘Words, Music, Theatre’ project. After graduation he taught guitar privately and played in various bands in London, including The Flamingoes. Andy also became involved in Graphic Design and works as a freelance graphic/digital designer.
Having discovered a passion for acting, he took a 2 year Actor’s Training course at The Questors Theatre and later became an acting member, appearing on stage in various productions ranging from Shakespeare to comedy. In the restoration comedy The Rover he combined acting with music direction and instrumental duties. The Rover toured London, The Minack Theatre in Cornwall and the International Theatre Festival in Slovenia.
Andy had always had a passion for film and having gained stage experience he has recently been focusing his efforts on screen acting. He funded and shot his own short movie Learning To Talk in the summer of 2014, which recieved 2 Nominations at the 2015 SOFIE awards in NYC. Learning To Talk was Andy’s second lead role in a short movie, so he was thrilled to have been nominated as Best Actor in a Short Movie. He was also Co-Director, Editor and Graphic Designer for Learning To Talk.
